In Frankfurt am Main unterscheiden sich die Rotary Clubs nach den Namen von Baudenkmälern und der mit ihnen verbundenen Institutionen.
Unser Club führt das "Städel" in seinem Namen. "Städel" ist der Oberbegriff für das nach seinem Stifter benannte Museum und die Kunsthochschule. Diese erklärte Zugehörigkeit bedeutet für uns Identifikation und Verpflichtung gegenüber diesen kulturellen Einrichtungen und ihren Zielen.
Unser Club wurde am 10.11.1994 gegründet und erhielt seine Charter am 17.03.1995. Er ist der erste unseres Distrikts 1820 mit sowohl männlichen als auch weiblichen Mitgliedern. Wir sehen in dieser Gemeinsamkeit ein Abbild der Realität des Berufslebens in all seiner neuen Vielfalt.

In Frankfurt, the Rotary Clubs are named after architectural monuments and their affiliated institution.
Our Club bears the name "Städel". "Städel" is the collective title of the art school and the museum, referring to its founder. The choice of the Städel name reflects identification with and commitment to these cultural institutions and their aims.
Our Club was established on November 10, 1994 and received its charter on March 17, 1995. It is the first in our district 1820 with male as well as female members. In this togetherness we see a reflection of today´s professional world in its full diversity.

Les Rotary Clubs sont tout particulierement attaches au patrimoine de notre ville, Francfort-sur-le-Main, et aux institutions qui nourrissent la vie culturele de la cite.
Notre Club a choisi de soutenir le "Städel", honorant par-la meme le fondateur du complexe Musee-Ecole des Beaux-Arts, et nous identifiant ainsi a l´esprit qui anime ces deux institutions et irrigue ses projets.
Cree le 10 novembre 1994, notre Club a ecu sa charte le 17 mars 1995. Il est le premier de notre district 1820 a accepter aomme adherent aussi bien des hommes que des femmes. Cette communaute est pour nous representative de la diversite qui marque la realite sociale et professionelle de notre temps.
